Free People

I've decided that Free People must be my favourite clothes site at the moment. Their clothes just keep getting better too! Lots of silk flowing knits and high leg flares, oversized but elegant sweaters and some amazing boots. Here are a couple of my favourites

Absolutely love their style. It can be a bit pricey though, especially to ship to Ireland. They should set up a European store!

The sun has made me want to surround myself with everything summery and fresh! When I think of summer it reminds me of sun, relaxing, eating fruit, smelling BBQ's, flirting and fun, swimming, heat, beach, sand, water, no responsibilities or stress, ice-cream, reading, kissing and playing, endless possibilitites, laughing, ease, no restrictions or pressure, music and flow, the ability to just be....
I have been browsing loads of different blogs and there are some amazingly inspiring summer shots out there so I wanted to share some that I have found on my net-ular travels...

All Images from Stone Cold Fox

I'm loving Stone Cold Fox's lovely days 2011 collection. Very summery, seventies chic vibe going on with their stuff. I found the image below on the Free People blog. It encompasses everything I want to do right now...which is mainly nothing except chill on a swing on a porch in the sun in the moist summer heat with nothing on my mind except enjoying the feel of a soft breeze caressing my bare skin. Ah the joy of nothingness....

Think I may need a holiday so I can laze around and read in the sun!

I have noticed a lot of lace shorts in recent shots and they have really grown on me. They're so sweet and delicate! Perfect for summer lazing...

Litter SF

I recently came across chain garters by Litter SF. I have never seen anything like this before but they look pretty cool under shorts I have to say!

They also do shoulder jewelry, which would look great in a sleeveless dress instead of just having a conventional necklace on.

Some other interesting pieces that caught my eye are the headpieces, Peace Rings and the ear cuff.

I am a huge fan of rings, especially unusual looking ones. These ones are amazing! These girls have some creative heads on them! Mackenzie Burdick and Rachael Mann are the creators these beautiful original designs, gaining their name from the inability to throw away junk but instead utilized it for their own design purposes and thus became Litter!

Jen's Pirate Booty

I adore Jen's Pirate Booty clothes! Gypsy inspired, sexy and feminine. Jen has really pulled off the gypsy/boho look with her soft, flirty skin revealing tops, dresses, kaftans and ponchos. I love the draping cotton gauze and lace that fall off the shoulder like with this French Kaftan and their Stevie dress...

I also really like the fact that Jen names her products after famous singers who would emulate that unconventional vibe like Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, Chaka Khan, Annie Lennox and even a Bowie top! I like this due to the fact that it shows her great taste in music ;-). Check out Joni, Janis, Bowie and Annie Lennox below...

The clothes are a little pricey for me so I guess I better start saving now!! I think I pretty much love everything she has to be honest...Although her Bombay mini dress is definitely a favourite of mine.

There is something so appealing about the way her fabrics flow and sit that had me exclaiming out loud how much I loved every new piece that I laid eyes on. Feckin LOVe her stuff!!!

Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli's 2011 collection is very gypsy/hippie inspired and I'm loving it! Long flowing fringed tops, dresses and necklaces as well as bags dripping with tassles. Loads of sequins and beads to give that gypsy look. The runway models all had that dead straight long 60's hippie look with the middle parting. He makes the gypsy look so glamorous...

His bags are amazing!!

He also has some beautiful dresses that look soft and delicate even with a huge brash print on them...
